While I don't believe most politicians are intentionally trying to do harm, I do think that very few have any interest in doing the people's business, and are mostly interested it pursuing whatever their agenda happened to be the day they were elected. Everyone is talking about "shutting down the government" and the truth is my view of it hasn't changed since Gingrich & Clinton did it: Great. A day without government is a good day. I'd gladly see the Congress shut down for a couple years. I really don't give a shit anymore.
