I have found that people become fans of the company that DID NOT manufacture the last drive that died on them. For many years I would not buy drives besides, IBM. Everything else was junk, until one died. Then it was Maxtor that made the best, until one died, Then Seagate, etc... Currently, I will swear on the Bible that Western Digital makes the best drives around. Ask me again in a week or two... forums.whirlpool.net.au
