For those who have forgotten:Why does PV-10 work better than anything else out there? Answer: Its very specific to just cancer. So far the only one. Why? Its designed to target cells below 7 ph. Normal cells are ph 7.2-7.4. Cancer has a ph of 6.4-6.8 and by simple chemistry the drug goes into cancer while leaving normal tissue alone. Simple story. Now how does it kill cancer? The lysosomes, the scuttling charge for cell death (a sub cell structure in the cell), has a ph of about 4.8. PV-10 really likes acidity and goes into the lysosome causing it to bust open and spill out its acidic contents and kill the cancer cell. So first and foremost PV-10 is a cancer specific lysosomal cytotoxin.

Second there is a bystander effect. This effect was never intentionally sought after during the design phase of the drug. But lo and behold it was there. Moffitt is working hard to fully explain the MOA. They have published some of their findings already. One theory is that because pv-10 destroys the cancer from the inside out, it leaves most if not all the antigens (up to 15,000) in place on the cancer cell surface, unlike other recently failed treatments targeting one specific antigen. Whatever mechanism the live cancer used to mask the immune system from detecting the cancer by hiding the antigens is now shut down. The APC and DC cells of the immune system are now able to pick and choose what antigen they determine will tick off the T-cells and make them go and hunt down any others. Quite possibly making you immune from that genetic type of cancer from now on! WHAT? HELLO! It's a good possibility.

Third, it is showing effectiveness on multi-indications. If it is an injectable tumor, and it is reachable, and it is cancer then it is treatable.

Fourth, pv-10 is a valuable "intellectually protected from hell" drug. It has patents on use, orphan drug status, recent patents on purer production process for RB that is now internationally accepted as the only approved process for that purity. The company has more poison pills put into it's charter to prevent a big pharma from getting YOUR stock too cheap.

So remember, no matter which way the path to approval takes, this is one mind boggling drug on the horizon.

Now remind me again what NTTG has done. What has NTTG ever done?
