Bob,

Not at all do I assume that there were no negotiations before the issuance of the patents. Maybe negotiations is the wrong word and there have been only some preliminary talks, and this is what I was trying to concede, that we were led to believe that real negotiations were going on while they most probably just entertained preliminary talks.
