In talking with Egyptians, all sides are condemning Obama and his designees for their negligence and contributions to this instability.
WASHINGTON — In a stern warning to Egypt's leaders, Secretary of State John
Kerry said the escalating violence throughout the country Wednesday had dealt a
"serious blow" to political reconciliation efforts between the military-backed
interim government and supporters of ousted President Mohammed Morsi.

Still, Obama administration officials signaled no change in U.S. policy
toward Egypt or clear consequences for the mounting violence.

What policy, what no change? He insisted we would support the Morsi government as a democratically elected body, but did not support them when protesters called his bluff. Then switched to non-coup status because the fall of the Morsi Government is the result of citizen action not a military coup. Now the citizen leaders are abandoning the interim government, and the Pres is expecting the Military to bring about democratic reform.

So the Commander and Wimp in charge of the American Armed Forces assigns John Kerry to the task. Does any one remember how John Kerry became famous in the first place. If not, it was as the key spokesperson in the sixties protesting against the operations of the American Armed Forces.
"Figuring out how to encourage the interim government to make good on their
promise to transition to a democratically elected government there is something
that we're working on," White House spokesman Josh Earnest said. "Hopefully it's
something they're working on."
Hopefully they are working on it??? Is that our policy?
