We can't adopt new rules- we kill to eat. We kill animals and plants. We need to kill if someone tries to kill us. We kill in wars. None of that is going away. The paradigm we really need to work on is, how do we take care of people who are truly in need without giving away valuable and finite goods and resources to lying cheating schmucks. That's the paradigm I'm interested in.
