Hi Neeka.....The pictures of Dusty and the restoration are amazing...I had no idea that one could take a trailer down so far, and put her back together again so well....It's it fortunate that you used Marine plywood on the floor!!
I'm going to check in once in awhile, to see all the tips and info....We haven't camped much, mostly because my idea of camping is a couple of days in the wilderness, then to a hotel/motel to spend overnight in a bed and a clean shower.....I love the woodsmoke smell....the campfire, and cooking and eating outside.
I think one of my favorite meals ever outside is the Hobo Stew using a double "tinfoil" wrapper, and inside is some sort of hamburger, steak, fish, or chicken, with onions, sliced potatoes, and sliced carrots. Cook in the coals of the fire..Sooo good when eaten outside! We've had French bread heated in the coals, or biscuits on a stick, depending on the party. A green salad, and some sort of dessert (particularly SomeMores') and we think we have eaten a gourmet meal! I like a good ground beef in mine....<ggg>
Good wishes for a successful thread. |
