You might want to argue that point a bit. I can't see any serious downside to doing so. If she picks the university involved wisely and handles her responsibilities well (which her track record suggests she would do both extremely well), I can't see a downside. Other than lost opportunities to do other things.


That's the key alright, but she can't be out there running while she has the other role, even though it might be in a defacto rather than official mode, and retain enough integrity to help herself in the process--IMHO of course. Republican students attend these schools also.

On second thought, it might work if she doesn't do anything political on the campus itself--even if on the weekend she goes to Iowa or something and gives a speech. In other words compartmentalizes herself.
