Well, I think religion is the cause of our using WMD, not the solution. Religion prevents thinking and cultural evolution. Anthropologists believe 25% of all people killed in the last 10,000 years were caused by war. Everyone was religious in the past. Since we have become less religious we are getting less violent. Look at how violent the middle east is. That is all religion. As well the bible belt and home of the KKK and racism is the most religious part of the country. Places like Denmark and Scandinavian countries where few are religious are bastions of peace? << You too, in your post here, are talking about an ethical evolvement/development to result in a change in human behavior, and that is what I was asserting about the religious influence developing a resistance in us, as a race, to use WMD's. Not much difference, no?
