We tend to forget that (we) Americans are fixated junkies & absolutely addicted to this game of polarized politics. And they never shut up, an unending uncivil humorless war, all we think & read about. This goes as far back as our convoluted history goes, due mostly to the fact that collectively we are not the brightest bulbs on the planet. The brightest of our founding fathers, made out to be paragons & public servants, were also quite the clever scoundrels,opportunists & very industrious womanizers,lovers of science, lest we forget.

Now for a little wisdom mixed with sorely needed sense of humor:
