Craig,

I know class 1 doesn't make much sense in an FC-AL setup, but what about an approach like Meltek's - where the drives are cascaded off a single controller? Would you still need to establish a dedicated connection to an individual drive - or does the controller have the address and then send data to the cascaded drives?
