Jack, if I were you I would totally ignore Vectorvest. This is a computer-generated system incapable of handling "soft" qualitative issues with which the human mind is much more comfortable. For example, what is the probability that OPEC will increase output or that Saddam will be allowed to export more oil? All of us know that these are key issues facing the oil drillers because they are determinants for the price of oil. Vectorvest doesn't consider them. Nor does it consider the nature of competition within certain industries. Look, for example, at how it values the dd's like SEG, WDC and QNTM. Just a word to the wise ...
