Hillary is a master of dismissive context. Fundamentally this only requires that she muddle the syntax to render it inoperable, creating an ambiguous context which can be redirected something more palatable by the masses. A vast right wing conspiracy was a much more palatable explanation for Bill Clinton's pathological abuses of women. It allowed people to put the issue away rather than struggle with the cognitive dissonance of Bill the first black president and champion of women's rights. Old News is a much more palatable context than struggling with the idea that she could be involved with major and wide spread political corruption. It effectively dismissed the complaint.

The veracity of something does not change over time. If something is a lie, a
mislead, or whatever, then whether or not it is old does not mean that what was
reported then wasn't true.

Nothing could be more true but truth is an unwelcome guest at the table of social movement and politically correct society.
