It was John F. Kennedy who sent the military to the south and told George Wallace to integrate that school in Alabama or the military would do it for him. And if his guards did not step aside the military would take them out, and Wallace too.

George Wallace stood aside for JFK. He was afraid. That bully and his minions were put in their place by the liberals and JFK.

So given your statement, the Republicans were also for it, I guess you would agree he was right in doing so,
