Lorne, Kenny...Soon you will be the only one LEFT who still does not know what Obama is and you still worship him.… Kenneth and I hear many on this site criticizing the current administration. However, I do not hear anyone stating how they would provide the work skill sets to reverse the loss of jobs due to automation (robotics) or increase the number of those jobs which are unskilled and labor intense. Naturally, the corporate Capitalistic World, want to increase their profit margin which requires either the increase prices, reduce the production cost of producing the goods or service, or reducing the wages, fringes, and terms of conditions of employment.
Would you increase the expenditures of the government to increase the production of our infrastructure, power grids, internet or energy production? Or, would you continue to cut governmental services to those who reside in the US, or continue to reduce the military cost? Then, again we could continue to reduce the US debt and/or cut other services as Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, agriculture aid, and other welfare services.
Which of the above would you prefer? You can not have everything happening at the same time, can you? |
