Maybe that's it....We've never really camped on our own in a trailer....Did the camping when the kids were smaller with a 9x9 tent....I enjoyed everything about it, but like I said, after 3 days, a shower is a must. The reason we didn't get a RV instead of the boat we did get, was that usually we would have had to go to an RV park, and after one of those trips with his parents and our kids, we decided it was much too confining...We both like the great outdoors, but not the cement and no trees around us....

A sign of age has crept into our lives...neither of us would enjoy sleeping on the ground any longer, even with an air mattress....The ole' bones just would be awake all night telling us their thoughts about why "this isn't a good idea"...

We did enjoy the tenting life younger though....There is a Forest Service Camping area just off Mt Rainier on the way east and Chinook Pass....very few modern conveniences, but the White River rushes right by the campground....Very cold coming off a glacier, but absolutely peaceful....
