This is typical of Klein's stupidity and ignorance.

Health insurance premiums are NOT an "investment". They are a "period expense". You spend the money and at the end you have NOTHING except the knowledge that had you needed it, you had paid for it. Precisely like term life insurance.

Klein and other idiots are trying to paint it as though it were like whole life insurance -- where there may be an investment component. I don't think even 20-somethings are that stupid.

Even more stupid is the suggestion that these same 20-somethings are would put away money now for some nebulous, likely non-existent benefit 40 years from now, even if they WERE going to get a benefit then.

This program is just one more example of intergenerational theft. As if we needed more.
