stephen,>>>Any comments on this (TK) bleak picture for '98?<<<

IMO what Tom Kurlak does is not science and not mathematics. It is more like Riverboat gambling or meteorology. Sometime back, many of your top meteorologists on your local radio/TV stations were not trained meteorologists. Some were quite good. There was a guy in New York - "DOCTOR" Bob was one of the best. He claimed to have a doctorate but was really a school drop. Airline pilot swore by him.
He continued to have a career even after he was exposed.

My point is, whenever you are dealing with psuedo science, you will always run into people who have a run of good luck and will have a good following. However, like any good river boat gambler, luck doesn't last forever.

Even in what we think are reputable fields, sometimes these things happen. As for examples, when was the last time that Henry Kaufman, Joe Granville, and Elaine Gazarelli have a large following.

IMO the same thing will happen to Tom Kurlak. Tom Kurlak will be remembered long after Intel is forgotten - but not before then.

Regards,

Mary
