This morally outrageous sequester is going to weigh heavily on the economy as its delayed impacts are felt, travelling right up the value chain from consumer products to enterprise; with jobs and wages at its core.

The fears of more extremist politics in the US cannot be ignored in its impacts on investment and growth.

Nor can the inevitable prospect of inflation for non-discretionary buying. Lets get that out there.

Assuming we can solve these matters in the next few months, interest rates stay low and inflation doesn't take off up; there's gonna be big opportunities in tech. After holding a major position in CSCO for several years, it was psychologically painful to see momentum and profits blown up last week - but I'm still up...

and holding through this late summer swoon, for the next harvest.

The improved economy is quite probable, and I am optimistic --voters can't be continued stupid, symbolic cartoonish Limbaugh, for example, is getting his ample bum kicked right now-- will trickle up to great, strategic US firms like CSCO.
