snippet heard in the post office this mornin'... in walks e.c. and someone asks him how he's doin'. prefacing his response with a cough, he says in a gravelly voice... "i'm so hoarse i musta been barkin' at possums all night." as for the 'bubba'thing, I I I didn't write taht. 'sides, even if y'all yanks have possums (and i'm glad ya do) that doesn't mean we cain't a little 'vantage of ya when you're in these here parts. taht's what tourists are for, ain't it?
