Koan, once again you fail to grasp the concept that the "majority" of college educators believed that nonsense. The body of knowledge was led by liberal progressives, and extended to the rest of academia as "settled" science for decades. In addition, public policies were put in place to act on the settled scientific knowledge and thousands of Americans were sterilized as a result. It is worth noting, Hillary Clinton prefers to be referred to as a "progressive".

Lastly, one of the most celebrated liberal Supreme Court members Oliver Wendell Holmes wrote the ruling which supported public sterilization, Buck vs Bell, it passed 8-1 since liberals controlled the court and it still stands as law today. Liberal racism can be traced directly to Hitler who used the "science" of eugenics as justification to commit atrocities across Europe.
