| | | tejek, my comment was that these are American youths who are growing u p seeing violence (Iraq war etc.), gun violence, joblessness etc. etc. They have no role models. All they see us doing is having our political fights, racial biases being mentioned openly, religious hatred, hatred towards Europe and other countries etc. Right here on this thread, how many times have people come and said that folks such as bankers need to be prosecuted. Instead, these youths need to be told that we cannot pass summary judgements like that without investigation, evidence etc. etc. They need to be told that that is what rule of law also means. etc. etc.
But hey, we had a former alcoholic addict as our past President with a swinging cowboy attitude, rubbed other nations the wrong way and took this nation from a outpouring of world sympathy on 9/12/2001 to a situation where he and with it this country was insulted with shoe hurling incident.
So race has nothing to figure in all this. |
