No contract Lumia 520s are not selling anywhere at $79 to $99 and Nokia is not under cutting their wholesale price of any Asha models with the Lumia 520 (or even the older 510 if still shipping) to any distributor anywhere on the globe.
At Flipkart India:
• The WP8 Lumia 520 models are selling for between Rs. 8819 ($135 USD) and Rs. 9899 ($155) and are eligible for Zero Fee EMI 3,6 months credit/debit purchases if the buyer is eligible.
• Lumia 620 models are selling for between Rs. 12840 ($201) and Rs. 14230 ($223) and are eligible for Zero Fee EMI 3,6 months credit/debit purchases.
• Lumia 720 models prices start at Rs. 16990 ($266) using Zero Fee EMI 3,6 months credit/debit purchases.
• The 820, 920, and 925 Lumia's are, of course, correspondingly higher.
• The highest priced Asha full touch 'smartphone' (the Asha 311) sells for Rs. 6050 ($95), the lowest priced Asha full touch smartphone (Asha 306) sells for Rs. 3949 ($62). The lowest priced Asha QWERTY (Asha DS 205) sells for Rs. 3475 ($54).
