I don't know for sure. My impression is that once you get to the loop, you can't dedicate bandwidth (at least at the hardware level) to the individual drives. This problem can be mitigated somewhat by reducing the number of devices on each loop. We might want to get KJ involved in this. He has a better understanding of the hardware than I do.
