Murder isn't nice they say
...........................................................................................................

Ethel C. Fenig August 22, 2013

After the shooting death of white Australian jogger in Oklahoma by three adolescents--one black, one mixed race and one white; and isn't diversity just great?--presumably out of boredom but probably there is more to it, many asked "Because they spouted loudly and often that the death of Trayvon Martin proved white people get away with murder when killing black people

what do Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton or even President Barack Obama (D) have to say about this? "

Yesterday Jackson tweeted his response. It seems he is really, really, really perturbed about violence that is senseless and is all for justice.

Praying for the family of Chris Lane. This senseless violence is frowned upon and the justice system must prevail.

It must be a deep frown.

As for the president,

Josh Earnest, principal deputy White House press secretary, said he was not familiar with the murder of Australian jogger Chris Lane during Wednesday's White House briefing.

(snip)

"This sounds like a pretty tragic case. I wouldn't want to get ahead of the legal process here and it's clear that law enforcement officials are involved and are investigating," Earnest said. "But any act of violence is something that - the president I think himself has spoken pretty eloquently about violence in our communities and he stood at this podium a few weeks ago where he talked about his concern about the impact that violence is having on, in particular, young people in this country."

So the White House's principal deputy press secretary's initial reaction to first hearing about the incident is that it is not very tragic but pretty tragic and is concerned about violence's impact on young people.

The usually loquacious Al Sharpton has not been heard from. Yet. He must be upset.
