Happy Creek Minerals (HPY-V) appoints Barker to advisory board - HPY make their shareholders happy?

Happy Creek Minerals Ltd. has made an additional appointment to the company's technical advisory board. Donald Barker has joined the technical advisory board. Mr. Barker's professional experience in mining is extensive. Graduating in geological engineering from Queen's University in 1969, Mr. Barker started with Cominco at Pine Point, and subsequently worked at Granisle Copper, Similkameen Copper (Copper Mountain), Fording Coal and Petro Canada Coal, and as a mining consultant in Canada, South America, the United States, Russia, Spain, Liberia, China and Australia. David Blann, president and chief executive officer of Happy Creek Minerals, stated: "Don brings to the company a great deal of diversified and applied mining experience. I appreciate his strong interest in the company as we begin to look at various options for our tungsten discovery on the Fox, our copper discoveries in the Highland Valley and other projects."
Mr. Barker will join Graeme Evans and David Kuran on the technical advisory board. In connection with this appointment and subject to Toronto Stock Exchange acceptance, the company has granted to Mr. Barker 200,000 options of the company, exercisable into common shares of the company at a price of 20 cents for a period of two years, and shall vest in accordance with the policies of the exchange and the company's stock option plan. |
