I agree with EKS. I don't believe there is any exclusivity requirement, although there might be exclusivity incentives(eg, Platform support payments from MS to Nok of $1B a year are likely contingent on exclusivity). Nokia gives up all leverage with Microsoft for any kind of negotiations (including potential buyout) if they contracturally commit to exclusivity. I can't see them backing themselves in to a corner like that, especially since they still sold Symbian for a while, they maintain their skunkworks disruptive technologies group, they've talked up html5 as a smartphone platform, etc.

I believe Nokia will stick with WP only insofar as there are business reasons to do so.
