BusinessWeek puts Elop in the top 10, fanboy.
Fanboy? Hehe. Pot, meet kettle.
As per usual, you seem to have missed my point. I completely agree that Elop is a likely candidate for the position, probably the most likely, he just isn't a good one. As Syl has already pointed out to you in several ways, Elop's tenure as CEO at Nokia has been disastrous. Phone market share way down, stock way down, chances at recovery -- almost zero.
Hows your "Fanboy Central" thread doing? Oh... The big goose-egg total posts in three months.
As you already know, I've been quite critical of Apple's direction lately -- something you never are with Nokia or Microsoft -- but you continue to try to obfuscate that fact to push your agenda. And I'm the fanboy? That's rich!
I realize your e-penis is measured by the success of your Apple Tankwatch thread and other threads on SI you moderate, so you think it is somehow important to me that my Fanboy Central thread gets posts. It just isn't. It's a thread on an Internet forum. Who cares? I just don't measure my self-esteem the same way you do.
Hope you're having a good day. Your day will get a lot better if you try to be honest with yourself and become more self-aware. End your painfully subjective adoration of all things Nokia and Microsoft. It will profit you in the long run, both financially and personally. :-) |
