Yes, I read it. It's in a conservative magazine the stresses burglaries by young black men. Martin was a young black man, with nary a burglary on his sheet. One was secretly armed, secretly functioning as a neighborhood watchman, who Martin saw as a creepy-ass cracker that was following him in a suspicious manner.

Maybe if he'd let both those facts be known to Martin, nothing would have happened.

As it is, a young man is dead.
