Nasheed's right to run had been questioned by a Democratic primary rival, State Sen. Robin Wright-Jones, who filed a lawsuit questioning Nasheed's eligibility. Nasheed does not currently live in the St. Louis Senate district she is seeking to represent, the Fifth District, a point no one is arguing.
