I really don't think it will hurt anyone. I guess I should make an exception for their own people since unlike our country, they've done little to control emissions. What gets me is that the US has done so much to clean up our industry (installed scrubbers, switched to low sulfur coal, etc) but liberals still pretend those pollution reductions haven't happened.

The whole point of the "carbon is pollution" theme is to prevent any coal, and eventually any fossil fuel, from ever being used at all.

The goal of 100% clean energy is impossible. Not a single solar panel or wind turbine has been made or will ever be made without the use of fossil fuels. Heck, solar panels are now being made of fossil fuel (coming from the same wells greenies dream of eliminating) derived plastics and wind turbines can't operate without lubricants sold by the big oil companies.
