Crash: Quick lesson on German mentality and politics ...

The people you are referring to are the young Germans who are encouraged to “argue / protest” but they are also encouraged / taught to think in monetary terms which in the end turns each young and over the top (as they should be) idealistic generation into the pragmatists of tomorrow which in terms of nuclear energy means this:



A nuclear free Germany is the ideal (political) outcome but it will only happen if it is economically feasible (German energy costs are already at the breaking point) which for the foreseeable future has to include nuclear energy. It will all work out for Germany as long as it can continue to export nuclear technology and import nuclear power from its neighbours at “reasonable” rates.



So, if one wants to “discuss” ZEN’s nuclear possibilities / opportunities, one should not look at Germany as a deal breaker but rather as a deal maker.
