We got the pass when my husband turned 62. We were really pleased at the savings we enjoyed on a 3 week trip we took to the SW last Sept. We were allowed free entrance to all NPs, and 1/2 price camping fees. Bryce was the cheapest by far at $7.00 a night. The only exception was Monument Valley. It is a NP, but the land is owned by the Navaho Nation, and they didn't honor that feature. But hey............for $10.00, we did one of the most interesting car tours we've ever taken.

I would add, if you go directly to a National Forest Service office, you only pay the $10.00. At least that is what it cost when we drove to the one nearest to us.

Thanks for posting the link and information.

I'll put it in the header.
