It sort of dropped out of use during 70s. Besides, it probably wasn't used much outside of the South. Remember also that Texas has a legend of The Yellow Rose of Texas. The yellow rose of TX is a woman??? lol. Damn.......you learn something new every day. And damn I thought TX was really into roses.....the plant. She was supposed to be something like 1/8th black. Seriously?! Crazy. Was she the TX eve?
