The White House and the Huffington Post are using the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington to cooperate on a blog. Senior White House and cabinet officials, including attorney general Eric Holder, will contribute to a Huffington Post page created to mark the occasion.

The Huffington Post is including a disclaimer for all posts authored by administration officials as well as a link to the website’s March on Washington anniversary page; the disclaimer reads, “This blog post is part of a series produced by the Obama Administration, in recognition of the 50th anniversary of the historic March on Washington.”

President Obama on Wednesday will speak on the 50th anniversary of the march on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial on Wednesday.

Holder wrote the inaugural entry in the Huffington Post series over the weekend. Titled “50 Years Later, Our March Goes On,” he argued that the fight for civil rights is not over and that our efforts to bring about equality “must go on until every action we take reflects our values and that which is best about us.”
