Doesn't matter if bacteria are manufacturing the methane and the trees are just the mechanism that releases methane. Your argument is like saying natural gas companies don't produce methane .. cause ancient bacteria did that millions of years ago and gas wells are just bringing it to the surface.


And btw, note what koan's sil said here:
