I'm mostly swing trading these days. I look for great patterns with high risk/reward ratios. I posted a couple of months ago about the GDXJ and GDX, which are a couple of good examples of swing trades with high risk/reward ratios (I believe I posted a 7:1 profit ratio back then for the HUI). I'll scalp intra-day on some easy set-ups, but I prefer longer swings.
