Well, the biggest one I can recall is when I input the transactions into my tax program, the description of the trade leaves about three characters short. Example: the input data shows on the tax program shows "1000 SHORT S" I manually went into the tax program and edited about 80 entries to show "1000 SHORT SD". I then went in and compared the amount shown for each transaction as the basis and proceeds and found a 1000 dollar error in the proceeds amount. This one transaction was found in the first 20 transactions I audited. I realize this is an isolated incident (I hope) and wont have a firm opinion until I finish, which will be by next week. I went back to the recorded daily transactions of my account and the entry on the error I found had been posted correctly. So "puff", I lost the 1000 dollars I thought I had found.
