We've boxed ourselves into having to do something; a consequence of picking sides instead of trying to bring peace, and of drawing red lines.

Since we've already drawn the red line in Iran, you can expect something there one of these years, too.

You'd think a Nobel winner would have said, "Come, let us reason together" 2 years ago instead of "Assad's gotta go". Our chances went downhill from there.
