That grand plan would be grand, if it was sustainable. The only thing that is sustainable is organic wealth creation through the free market interactions of supply and demand, and millions of market participants setting the prices of goods and buying those goods. Central Economic Planning usually boils down to pulling demand forward to try to banish recessions. That always results in massive distortions that have to be paid for later on. So my grand plan is for our government to do what it does best, which is to regulate and enforce laws and regulations that set a level playing field and enforce property rights, while leaving the regulated market and free individuals to do what they do best, which is to work towards their own self interests within the confines of a level playing field. That will create sustainable wealth and economic growth.

The alternative is what we have today, limping from crisis to crisis in a low to no growth environment, wailing while millions are on food stamps and millions more unemployed or underemployed.
