| | Board of Directors - Management Profiles __________________________________________________________ Michael Dalsin, Chairman and Executive Director Mr. Dalsin has been a Managing Director of Stanmore Capital, a healthcare services specialized investment firm, since 2002.
Mr. Dalsin brings his unique blend of market and financial acumen in the healthcare services market to PHM. He has developed market strategies to improve financial outcomes for referring physicians from the sleep diagnostics industry to pathology laboratories to specialty plasma collection centers.
Previous to Stanmore, Mr. Dalsin worked in international investment banking and deal-making with investments by Morgan Stanley Managing Director’s funds in London, Hong Kong and New York. He has participated as a lead banker and negotiator for a number of small and medium market ($25M to $100M) international acquisitions for both American and English companies.
Mr. Dalsin holds an economics degree from University of Wisconsin - Madison.
Jaime Gerber, M.D., F.A.C.C., CEO
Jaime Gerber, M.D., F.A.C.C., is a board certified Cardiologist and serial entrepreneur. He was instrumental in founding mdINR, LLC, a company focused on Coumadin® management services which was acquired by Lincare (Nasdaq:LNCR).
He also founded a cardiology group which he grew to become one of the most prominent cardiology groups in New England. He is a fellow of The American College of Cardiology, a member of the Society of Nuclear Cardiology, and the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society.
In addition he serves as an Attending Physician in the Department of Cardiology at the Yale New Haven Hospital.
Roger Greene, Executive Director
Mr. Greene has been a Managing Director of Stanmore Capital, a healthcare services specialized investment group, since 2002.
Mr. Greene has led the transition of a number of healthcare service companies from small companies to top competitors in the marketplace. Mr. Greene has extensive legal expertise and knowledge of the complex laws that encompass health services partnerships with referring physicians, which serves as the central theme for PHM.
Mr. Greene worked with the various funds in the Robert M. Bass Group in Texas as a principal and as general counsel. He participated in a number of their opportunity funds, including Brazos Fund, which purchased $2 billion in assets in the US and Canada, and Lone Star Fund, which has acquired and managed several billions of dollars in assets in North America, Asia and Europe. For Brazos, Mr. Greene was responsible for negotiations on a $300 million purchase of assets from a thrift in Canada, an acquisition of assets of over $100 million that resulted from the merger of two insurance companies, and the securitization of hundreds of millions of dollars of loans.
Mr. Greene holds an AB in economics from Harvard College and a law degree from Harvard Law School.
Ed Dooling, Non-executive Director
Mr. Dooling is Executive Vice President and Chief Growth Officer of American Pathology Partners (APP), a nationwide pathology laboratory group he helped found. He is an expert in referral-based healthcare services sales and has a proven track record in creating fast growth companies in the sector.
Mr. Dooling was previously Vice President and General Manager of Anatomical Pathology at Ameripath, a pathology lab group sold to Quest for $1.23 billion.
He served as a naval officer before his career in healthcare services.
Gerard Jacobs, Non-executive Director
Mr. Jacobs has founded and served as the CEO of several publicly traded companies that he has built into substantial businesses.
Mr. Jacobs founded and led a company, now called Sims Metal Management (NYSE:SMS), where he raised over $500 million, completed 37 acquisitions of companies and, in the process, created the largest publicly traded scrap metal recycling company in the United States with almost $900 million in revenue. With Inuvo, Inc, (AMEX:THK), Mr.Jacobs raised over $20 million and completed 15 acquisitions in the online marketing and advertising industry.
Currently, Mr. Jacobs is the Chairman and CEO of a small public company called Acquired Sales Corp., which he plans to grow by acquisition.
Mr. Jacobs has also served as a director and officer of several other publicly traded and privately held companies including Crown Casino Corporation (now called America's Car-Mart Inc., NASDAQ:CRMT).
Mr. Jacobs is a graduate of Harvard University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and of The University of Chicago Law School, which he attended as a Weymouth Kirkland Law Scholar.
Nitin Kaushal, Non-executive Director
Mr. Kaushal brings more than 25 years of financial and investment experience to PHM, including expertise in the areas of investment banking, venture capital and strategic consulting.
Mr. Kaushal has worked in senior roles with a number of Canadian investment banks focused on healthcare, including Desjardins Securities Inc, Orion Securities Inc, Vengate Capital, HSBC Securities Inc and Gordon Capital. He has held roles within the private equity/venture capital industry at MDS Capital Corp. and at PricewaterhouseCoopers in their M&A, valuation and audit groups. In addition, Mr. Kaushal has sat on a number of public and private company boards.
Mr. Kaushal was awarded a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) from the University of Toronto and is a Chartered Accountant. In 2008, Mr. Kaushal was awarded the Brendan Wood TopGun Healthcare Banker in Canada.
