Not sure what you mean by safe. :) Running for cover might be panic, but IMHO it has not reached supercheap territory. P/tangibleB is still highish. Yield is OK, but not very high for rising interest rate environment. So I kinda understand that there are not many buyers here. You might do well if there is a reversion-to-the-past pushing yield to 6% or so. But it might also languish at current price or even head lower still. I'd like to see ~1.2P/tangible and >8% yield before I proclaim it super cheap. :)
