Longnshort, a staple of my childhood was Kings Dominion. For those who don't know, it's an amusement park in Richmond, VA, just two hours away from the metro D.C. area.

One of the attractions there is a huge old wooden roller coaster named The Rebel Yell. I loved going on that thing over and over again, second only to the other wooden roller coaster named The Grizzly.

Only much later did I find out what the name "Rebel Yell" actually stood for. OMG, one of my childhood memories is associated with a Confederate battle cry!

What should I do, Longnshort? How do I cleanse this sin from my soul?
