56% of US adults own a smartphone. That figure is growing monthly. 41% own some other kind of cell phone. So, basically, 97% of US adults have cellphones of some kind.

In the US, about 89% of households owed one or more cars. (Worldwide, about 8% of people own a car).

As of 2012, about 99% of US households owned at least one TV set.

If you're poor, the US is the place you want to be, because it is downright HARD to be poor here. An unemployed, single parent in PA takes home $69,000 a year. I don't think there is any place else in the world where you can do that.
