Rat said they would go after him if he bombs without going to congress. it gives them a perfect target.

And they won't be on record so they can lie.

Obama needs to take it to congress so the pubs have to vote and get them on the record to protect himself.

Rat is right. It is exactly the excuse they have been looking for.

And god only knows what Obama will unleash if he bombs, so he needs to make sure congress is in the stew with him, so they cannot cut him off at the knees if things go nuts.

That is his only play. I hoped to god he sees it.
