Need a reason to support why our defense budget is 2.5 times what it was in 2000 en.wikipedia.org But the most incredible stat is we spend way less as a percentage of our federal budget on defense than we did post WW2 or even when JFK was president due to our welfare state and aging population.. en.wikipedia.org Scary where all this is going as we never ever address the real structural problems for average Americans..
