I am sorry just because I am white doesn't mean I should feel guilty like the anglo saxon small town racist bible thumpers of the present or past. Jeez I am less than one generation removed from immigrants with funny accents and ethnic last names... I deal with minorities all the time don't treat them any different than white people. I try to surround my self with good people. No one with bad morals, ethics or behaviors gets a pass from me just because they are _____. Don Lemon just because he is gay and his father was a mechanic can't understand hood culture so should not be a voice? God forbid his mother was highly educated and he learned to speak well at an early age. Guess he was branded an uncle Tom early on probably made his life a living hell growing up (not too mention the gay part). Best thing we can do is have more voices like his, like our current president who don't look or sound much like they were raised in the hood. If all I saw and heard growing up was the Italian mob mentality I would probably have turned out different myself
