So you are against bombing Syria?

What I want from a President is competence. When Bill Clinton was POTUS, I disliked him and thought that he was a bad President. However, I respected his political skills and knew he was a more than competent politician that understood how to play the game well.

Obama is a total amateur. He has a nice voice and reads a teleprompter with skill and that's about it. He lacks a knowledge of history and lacks basic judgement. He is lazy and doesn't seem to understand how to make the machinery around him work. He seems way over his head and remains, after over 4 years on the job, unprepared for the job he is in. He makes Bill Clinton look like Abraham Lincoln.

The Syria question is complicated by the mess Obama has made of it. Ignoring the situation would have been better than the way he has handled it. He told the world that he had a "red line" and then did nothing to prepare in case the red line was challenged. When it was he initially backed down as if to say, "just kidding!" He doesn't understand the consequences to himself and his country when words and deeds are not connected, when everybody realized that you are a bozo that doesn't need to be taken seriously. He made a total mess of the Syria situation by his pattern of talking big and then dithering. He claims to care about the use of chemical weapons in Syria but did not care about their use against the Kurds in Iraq. His current statements about what a President has the power to do contradict what he is on record saying when he was attacking other presidents. Because of the way he has handled the situation, with other enemies like Iran and North Korea watching, he has made himself and our country weaker.

Whether he bombs or does not bomb doesn't even seem to matter any more. He has already so mismanaged the situation that no matter what is done, he and our country will be losers. He has again shown himself to be a failed President that should not be in the position he is in.
