From what I know about the Tiger countries (except Japan) is that besides the need to update their financial and lending institutions (which don't have proper stadarized finacial infrastructure) is that their communications infrastructure is just starting to be addressed and they need this badly. The Asia's enourmous growth that has taken place since around 1978 now requires long term committments as oppossed to the short-term, small-deal approach which has dominated until now.
I am very exiced about what's about to unravel. Yes, there will be pain and a few steps back as adjustments take place, but there is not looking back now. It is a new world and Asia a definitely part of of.
