Not really. The answers are in the numerous experiments and more than a few public school districts. They only need more money to do better work. But more important than any of this is a national commitment to improving education for the poor (not simply the testing of education results such as No Child Left Behind nonsense) and moving increased tax dollars (higher taxes on the wealthy) into public education.

You seem convinced, as do many on these boards do, that simply moving dough into education is the answer, but where is the proof of this? No one I've asked to provide proof of this has been able to do so--if you have some such studies trot them out please--at your leisure.

Then there is the example of the DC Schools that Krysol provides which seems to contradict this with high spending per pupil and low graduation rates.

That is why I am saying we need some kind of measurement of what is being achieved or not being achieved first.
